Warranty Information
Your new custom cabinets are warranted for a period of one full year from the date of delivery. This warranty covers defects or flaws in the workmanship and/or materials of the cabinetry. To obtain warranty performance, contact Tri-Star Cabinet & Top Co., Inc. in New Lenox, Illinois. Upon notification by the buyer, Tri-Star will send a representative to inspect the defect and after verification of the defect, Tri-Star will either repair or replace, at our option, the defective piece either in your home or return it to the factory to be reworked. There will be no charge to you, the consumer, for shipping and handling or for the warranty work itself. It is important for you to carefully inspect your new countertops BEFORE ANY INSTALLATION is started. Tri-Star will not be held responsible to remove or reinstall any countertops and/or any appliance connected to them. LABOR COSTS AND/OR MONETARY CONSIDERATION OF ANY KIND ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from customer storage, transportation, or installation. THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE OF THE PARTICLE BOARD DUE TO EXPOSURE TO A LIQUID. (Laminate seams are not water tight.) Nor does it cover damage to the laminate caused by harsh chemicals or extreme heat (temperature in excess of 275 degrees.)
All articles supplied by the firm but manufactured by others shall not be covered by the warranty other than to the extent of the warranty given by such manufacturer or his distributor from whom the firm obtained the product.
The item purchased under this agreement shall be used exclusively by the customer and by no other person, and therefore there shall be no third party beneficiary to any of the warranties, express or implied, contained in this agreement.
